Since I started bookmarking great web designs by colour it’s amazing just how many websites have a blue colour scheme. I’ve found dozens of sites that could have been added to this list, which is a lot more than I have found in some other lesser used colours. Avoid using blue when promoting food and cooking, because blue suppresses appetite. When used together with warm colors like yellow or red, blue can create high-impact, vibrant designs; for example, blue-yellow-red is a perfect color scheme for a superhero.
Light blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness.
