The Very Best Web Designs Of 2009
What a year 2009 has been. The recession has had a massive effect worldwide on advertising budgets and more and more marketers have realised the cost effective benefits of the web. Print advertising’s loss has been web designs gain and the amazing community of web designers have grasped this by producing some wonderful work.
Well 2009 will be remembered for one thing, the year D-Lists emerged. Of course, I jest but I thought I would put together this showcase to highlight my favourite sites of the year. I have been through all 33 weekly web design posts and picked out my favourite, creating an amazing array of lovely web designs.

I came to this list thinking I was going to hate most of the designs, but there are actually some awesome non-cliche’d designs here. In 2010 i’d like to see no websites looks like iPhone app sites (unless their are actually for iPhone apps…even then)
