
Simon Oxley is a hugely talented illustrator. He uses a simple illustrative style to create some very original characters and funny characters. I personally love his use of muted colours and grainy textures to give them a hand made feel.

The aim of most websites is to persuade the user to act. The actions can range from buying, downloading, signing up etc. However, there is no use trying to persuade someone to act if you then make it impossible for them to find the place to do so.
A well designed call to action can increase the number of people who perform the desired action on your site. It can make or break your website. Here is a list of tips to ensure your calls to action work for you and your users.

I’ve had a J3 work set as one of my wallpapers for as long as I can remember. It came around again the other day and it made me think about his other works. When I was lucky enough to track his work down I was blown away by the amazing quality on show.

Today’s showcase features a great UK double act who go by the name of Tado. Their individual and striking style has been used on all manner of products from cereal boxes, toys, clothes and even cars. Tado use vibrant colours to create the cutest characters and scenes to place them in and it is this style that has led them to work with names such as, McDonalds, Nike, Smart Car, Zune, Computer Arts and many more.

Hi, I’ve put together a great showcase for you today. McFaul is on of the first names I came across when starting out in design. I guess the reason for this is down to their client base. They work with some world renowned brand names including Havaianas, Audi, Nike, British Airways etc.
