The Very Best In Package Design

main

I do not produce package design as a living but one piece of advice I always read is that you should look outside the box (excuse the pun) when trying to find inspiration. Always wanting to heed good advice I decided to follow some package design blogs and was amazed by the amazing design on show. My main source of income, web design, is very similar in characteristics to package design, in that it has to convey the brand instantly, be easy to scan and stand out among numerous similar products.

With this in mind I thought I would showcase some of my favourite package design examples in recent times.I would just like to take the time to say that nearly all of the inspiration on offer here has been found (or can be found) on thedieline.com. I would suggest you bookmark that site if the following work excites you.

There is a lot of thought here to these packaging designs. The creativity is amazing. Does this truly help sell the product. I wonder how much is enough and what is interesting but overboard.
