For nearly 10 months now I have been showcasing what I thought were the very best web designs I had seen. Just last week though, I thought to myself I’d love to know what some of the ‘web celebs’ (I hate that term but it gets my point across nicely) thought made a great web design. So this is what will hopefully be the start of a nice little series of posts that showcase what they believe to be the nicest sites around at the moment.
Jacob Cass was the first person I asked because he is someone I admire and I was really interested to find out what styles he enjoyed. Jacob is the founder of Just Creative Design and is also a great person to follow on Twitter.

When I’m looking for web design inspiration I like to make sure that I look at non web related sources of design to ensure that I don’t just follow current web trends. Since I started bookmarking great web designs by colour it’s amazing just how many websites have a blue colour scheme. I’ve found dozens of sites that could have been added to this list, which is a lot more than I have found in some other lesser used colours.
